The newest addition to my purse

Two doctor visits this past week resulted in two things. One: Finding out that I'm basically allergic to the entire outside world. Two: Now having to carry an Epipen in my purse with me everywhere I go. Starting sometime in the next few weeks, I will be starting allergy drops. These are similar to the allergy shots that some people get, but with these, I won't have to go to the allergist every week. Instead, I get to take my drops home with me and I will use them daily. The drops are being made specially for me, out the the items that I am allergic to. The plan is that I will be introduced to these items everyday, until my body eventually becomes immune to them, which will hopefully cure my allergy toward them. I don't know if it will get rid of all twenty some odd allergies that I have, but we are hoping it will get rid of most of them. I have to worry about....Hickory trees, White Hickory Trees, Hackberry Trees, Alder Tag Trees, Alder Smooth Trees, Birch River Trees, Penicillin, Erythimicin, Bactrum, Sulfa, Mite-D Farinae, CA Walnut Trees, Black Walnut Trees, Walnuts, Mulberry Trees, Red Mulberry Trees, Johnson Grass, Bermuda Grass, Kentucky Blue Grass, Cockroaches, Guinea pigs, Cattle, Horses, Feathers, Dogs, and Cats. All in all, that is 26 things that I'm allergic to.
I can't say that I know that these drops will work, but I'm giving it a shot, so we'll see what happens. I'm just praying that during the trial of this, the Epipen that has been added to the array of items in my purse stays there and doesn't have to be used.
